Long-term results of the treatment of secondary aorto-enteric fistulae by in situ replacement with cryopreserved arterial allografts

Our objective was to evaluate the long-term results of the treatment of secondary aorto-enteric fistulae by in situ reconstruction with arterial allografts. The principal criterion of judgment was short- (30-day), mid- (12 months) and long-term (36 months) survival. The secondary criteria of judgment were primary patency, the rate of reinfection and the postoperative morbidity.
