Mylan unveils generic oral contraceptive
Mylan NV has rolled out a generic version of an oral contraceptive Minastrin, which is a product of pharmaceutical company Allergan.
Mylan (Nasdaq: MYL) announced Thursday that it received final approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for Norethindrone Acetate and Ethinyl Estradiol Tablets USP, and Ferrous Fumarate Tablets, 1 mg/20 mcg. It's used to prevent pregnancy.
