hnRNPK as a Driver of Lymphomagenesis
Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K (hnRNP K) is a multi-functional ssDNA and RNA binding protein that regulates a multitude of cellular programs involved in tumorigenesis. Accumulating biochemical data suggest hnRNP K may have oncogenic functions through its transcriptional and translational activities. While clinical data from solid tumors suggest a potential role for hnRNP K in some tumor types, its role in lymphoid malignancies has not been studied.
