Mapping photo-induced current density of Mg-porphyrin under twisted light

We report a characteristic map of the local electron circulation in Mg-porphyrin under twisted light which is a process that is strongly dependent on the frequency of photon. This work is a result of DFT calculation and time-dependent perturbation theory which are used to obtain the electronic structure and the photo-induced current density, respectively. The current density profile has been obtained for different frequency values of light and for single orbital angular momentum value. For comparison, we also obtained the induced current results for the case that orbital angular momentum is zero. Graphical abstract
