Mayo Clinic begins shift to $1.5B digital records system from Epic Systems

Mayo Clinic has started moving millions of patient records to a single electronic health records database from Epic Systems Corp. of Verona — a $1.5 billion effort that the Rochester, Minn.-based health system began in 2015.
