Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Groups (EMUGs)
This is a guest post on behalf of the EMUGs team
Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Groups (EMUGs) is a diverse group of Point-Of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) enthusiasts and advocates who strongly believe that the utilisation of clinician performed POCUS in the Emergency Department improves care, optimises management and saves lives.
In just over two years we have organised 15 meetings across NSW, Victoria, Queensland, WA and NZ and brought together hundreds of POCUS users.
Our upcoming February meetings are based on the theme of
Point of care Ultrasound in Resource limited Environments (PURE).
The Clinical Leads in Ultrasound bloc (CLUb) meetings aim to help standardise and coordinate training across ANZ.
Provocative and exciting speakers will address audiences around the country throughout February and March.
