Phrenic paralysis during cardiac electronic device implantation: incidence, causes and clinical course

Conclusions
Transient phrenic paralysis may occur during CIED implantation probably related to the infiltration of local anaesthesia in the subclavian area. Mechanism, prevention, and management are discussed.
