Cystic fibrosis sufferer claims POLE VAULTING saved his life 

When Jerry Cahill was diagnosed in New York in 1974, cystic fibrosis sufferers were not expected to live past 16. Even now, the average life expectancy of a CF sufferer is 36. Jerry is 60.
