CONCLUSIONS: Posterior hemivertebrectomy in congenital scoliosis is a safe treatment option for up to 3-level hemivertebrae. Excision of thoracolumbar hemivertebrae results in better correction than thoracic and lumbar hemivertebrae. PMID: 27340519 [PubMed]
