Veritas applies to relocate adolescent eating disorder services

Specialty hospital Veritas Collaborative has filed an application with state regulators to relocate some specialty eating disorder services. If approved, Veritas would relocate its existing child and adolescent psychiatric hospital from Douglas Street to 4024 Stirrup Creek Drive in Durham County. The project would cost $9.1 million and be completed in January. Veritas specializes in treating people with eating disorders, such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating.
