The 2-In-1 Product I Wish I'd Invented

Did you ever watch Shark Tank on ABC, see a product idea profiled on the show and think, "Dang that's a no-brainer! Why didn't I think of that?" That's just how I felt this morning during a trip to my local Container Store when in the kitchen section I happened upon a line of products from Joseph Joseph. (Not a typo!) Joseph Joseph solves the challenge of serving high-maintenance snacks. You know the culprits; they come to your party, tempt your guests and are a teensy bit of a pain to eat. I'm talking pistachios or peanuts in the shell, salted edamame, olives with pits and shrimp with tails to name a few. All these items require a separate plate or bowl for their inedible parts. Heck, even those delectable Hersey Kisses are guilty. Let's face it, a bowl of shrimp shells or crumpled candy foil isn't exactly the prettiest table decoration at your party is it?  The Double Dish by Joseph Joseph is an elegant design solution for the break-apart snack dilemma. Simply fill the top half of the dish with your delicious snack and set it out. Guests will intuitively know to drop their shells, tails, or candy wrappers into the bottom half through one of the curved openings along the edge of the bottom half. So simple, it makes you wonder why you didn't think of it yourself! What would you serve in your own Double Dish?      PS: Follow me on Twitter and Facebook and if you like this information, share it by clicking the social bookmarking links above and below the post.
