New guideline for Cushing's syndrome recommends tumour removal
The Endocrine Society and the European Society for Endocrinology have released a new clinical practice guideline for managing Cushing’s syndrome. The guideline recommends umor removal as a first-line treatment unless surgery is not possible or will not help with the excess levels of cortisol.
