The Royal College of Nursing response to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) evaluation of the revalidation pilots

Royal College of Nursing (RCN) - Revalidation is a process being introduced by the NMC that all nurses and midwives will be required to undertake every three years, in order to renew their registration. This response is the result of a consultation with RCN members and sets out a number of areas on which the RCN feel that the NMC must urgently provide clarity, in order to instil confidence in the nursing workforce and indeed the wider healthcare system that current proposals will be effective.
