Addressing Veteran Health Equity Through Public-Private Partnerships

Patients receiving long-term care (LTC) services are at higher risk for social determinants of health (SODH) disparities. Strategic public-private partnerships (P3) facilitate collaborations to reduce health inequities. As the largest integrated health care system, the organization is invested in achieving health equity for all Veterans through robust P3 that address SDOH, increasing access to (1) high-quality care; (2) healthy foods; (3) training and employment resources; and (4) civic participation and social-cohesion opportunities.
