"inserting the etonorgestrel implant into the thigh: a case report"

Traditionally, etonorgestrel implant is inserted on the inner surface of the non-dominant medial upper arm in women, over the triceps area. However, this case report aims to describe an alternative insertion site for etonorgestrel implant - the medial side of the thigh - in nephropathic patients with arteriovenous fistulas undergoing hemodialysis.
