Response to: “Impact of adjuvant radiochemotherapy on free flap volume in head and neck reconstruction still needs to be further verified”

We greatly appreciate the opportunity to transparently discuss our recently published work in the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.1 Yan Wei and colleagues have raised several interesting concerns regarding our analysis and recommended further validation of our conclusions. We concur that additional, robust studies are indeed necessary to validate our findings. Nonetheless, we are confident that our meta-analysis provides qualitative and significant insights that can be integrated into the clinical decision-making process.
