Endovascular management of posterior tibial arteriovenous fistula and pseudoaneurysms secondary to  penetrating trauma

Traumatic peripheral artery arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs) require consideration of both open and endovascular treatment approaches.1 There is limited data to support an “endovascular-first” approach, which aims to ease patient recovery while preserving open bypass as an option for future interventions.2
