Dental transpositions: An update for clinicians

Although dental transpositions are rare anomalies, management of transposed teeth can often be complex, requiring multidisciplinary management. It is therefore important for dentists to be familiar with the clinical and radiographic presentation of transpositions and understand the aetiology to aid early diagnosis and appropriate management.Clinical relevance: Dentists are best placed to detect transposed teeth and should be familiar with the clinical and radiographic presentation, aetiology, and classification of transpositions in order to aid early diagnosis and their subsequent management.PMID:38520194 | DOI:10.1177/20501684241230777
