Popliteal aneurysmal arteriovenous malformation

A 33-year-old innately healthy woman with a gradually increasing left popliteal pulsatile tumor was referred to our hospital because of suspicious diagnosis of popliteal aneurysm. Contrast-enhanced 3-dimensional CT angiography revealed aneurysmal dilatation of popliteal arteriovenous malformation (AVM): i.e., the popliteal artery, aneurysmal AVM, and popliteal vein were sequentially enhanced (A, B, C, D/Cover, E). The patient underwent aneurysmectomy in the prone position. The aneurysmal AVM was exposed through the S-shaped skin incision in the popliteal fossa.
