We express our gratitude to Estevinho et  al1 for their insightful comments and inquiries regarding our case report,2 which was recently published in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. We have adapted this technique for the closure of large mucosal defects after endoscopic submucosal dissection, achieving excellent results in terms of adverse ev ent prevention.3 Unlike the purse-string technique, which typically involves only 1 endoloop, we use multiple endoloops and clips, allowing for the closure of ulcers>20  mm.
