Past PIP and effect on licensing and credentialing

A few months into my first hospitalist job post-residency, an adverse outcome patient case was reviewed. While the cause of the adverse outcome was multifactorial and it is possible that extra imaging/quicker specialist consultation may not have made a difference, I was queried.
