PointClickCare Acquires CPSI Subsidiary, American HealthTech

CPSI Selects PointClickCare to Support AHT Customers with Access to a Best-in-Class Suite of Products and Solutions, and the Most Expansive Care Collaboration Network PointClickCare Technologies, a leading healthcare technology platform enabling meaningful collaboration and access to real‐time insights at every stage of the patient healthcare journey, today announced the acquisition of American HealthTech Inc. (AHT), a subsidiary of Computer Programs and Systems, Inc. (CPSI) and a leading provider of electronic health record (EHR) solutions and related services for the post-acute care market. CPSI, a community healthcare solutions company, announced the divestment of AHT and selected PointClickCare to continue supporting AHT customers into the future. “As part of our ongoing business transformation, we have decided to divest AHT and therefore discontinue development of the AHT product,” said Chris Fowler, President and CEO at CPSI. “We selected PointClickCare as the technology partner of choice to take care of AHT’s customers and ensure they are set up for success now and into the future.
