Re: Physician associates in interventional radiology: a  new paradigm?

We have read with great interest the article by Lewis et  al.,1 and would like to acknowledge the authors for their contributions. We would like to make some comments on behalf of the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) Junior Radiologists' Forum (JRF), consisting of elected trainee representatives from all UK deaneries. We work collaboratively with the RCR to improve radiology training nationally. At the most recent JRF meeting, on 7 December 2023, we discussed the impact of physician associates (PAs) on radiology trainees.
