Management of hidradenitis suppurativa tunnels using drainage setons: A retrospective multicentric study

To the Editor: Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is an chronic skin disease characterized by inflammatory lesions and scars. The presence of tunnels poses challenges for effective treatment.1 Drainage setons, which are flexible plastic or silicone bands that are introduced into the tunnels of HS, have been used for the management of perianal fistulas. We aimed to evaluate the clinical outcomes of drainage seton placement2 in HS lesions at 3 Spanish hospitals.
