Invited commentary: Perspective of health equity in Endocrine  Surgery

It is our great pleasure to provide this invited commentary representing a summary and perspective of health equity in endocrine surgery, being part of the presentations in the inaugural health equity session at the 43rd annual meeting of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AAES) in 2023. The AAES leadership created this session to raise awareness regarding health inequities in endocrine surgery, facilitate the sharing of information, and encourage discussion and impactful research on health equity in endocrine surgery.
