Using ChatGPT and other forms of generative AI in systematic reviews: Challenges and opportunities

ChatGPT and other large language models (LLMs) have become popular topics discussed across different frontiers of society, including healthcare [1]. These new types of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are collectively known as “Generative AI” and can produce text documents, images, audio, and video files mimicking human-like content creation abilities [2]. Generative AI has demonstrated high performance in complex tasks and competitive exams like the United States Medical Licensing Examination [3].
