Establishing a Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Program: An Institutional Approach for Developing a POCUS Program Infrastructure

Point of care ultrasound (POCUS) is rapidly accelerating in adoption and applications outside of the traditional realm of diagnostic radiology departments. Here, we share our experience, the governance organization, our approach to device and information security, training, and quality assurance.
