Anthropometric and physical qualities of semi-professional rugby league players

Introduction: Rugby league is a contact sport played at amateur, semi-professional and professional levels. The typical game includes intense bouts of running, tackling, and short periods of recovery. Previous work has developed physiological and anthropometric profiles of professional rugby league players but to date there is sparse data on semi-professional players.
