The prevalence, severity, and mechanism of breast injuries within women's rugby league

Introduction: Breast injuries have a high prevalence in female contact sports, are mostly unreported and negatively affect athletic performance. In addition, they can have severe and long-term consequences, including breast fat necrosis, damage to milk ducts in lactating women, rupture of breast implants, and stunting breast development.
