Comment on cryoneurolysis of intercostal nerve for rib trauma and intercostal neuralgia in the emergency department: a multidisciplinary approach

I was enthralled to read the article in the September issue by Hashemi, et  al (1). The authors presented an extremely interesting case of a patient with severe traumatic intercostal neuralgia. It is assumed that the patient was first treated in the emergency department (ED) using cryoneurolysis, a fast and effective treatment for intercostal neuralgia.
