FDA to launch public consultation before pulling over-the-counter Sudafed and cold meds that contain dud ingredient

The US FDA said Thursday it would seek public opinion before removing a decongestant widely used in cough syrups from the agency's list of ingredients for over-the-counter (OTC) use.
