Variations in the delivery of palliative care services to adults

This report sets out an investigation undertaken examining the quality and consistency of palliative care provided to adults. It finds that palliative and end of life care is ‘variable and inequitable’ across the NHS in England and that these differences may be more noticeable in areas where funding for services is limited or where care is being delivered across wide geographical areas.ReportHealthcare Safety Investigation Branch - news
