What AI Chatbots Mean for Editors, Authors, and Readers of Ophthalmic Literature

A new artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot debuted in November 2022. OpenAI ’s ChatGPT lets an individual type a request and then almost immediately receive text designed to seem written by a human. The potential advantages of this service include the ability to take simple requests and provide knowledge based on algorithm searches of the vast data available through the i nternet in a response that uses proper punctuation, varied sentence structure, and clear organization.
