Advances and Changes in the Components of Prenatal Care
Over the past couple of decades, there is more appreciation of the limitations and challenges of the “traditional” components of prenatal care. New testing activities, both laboratory and imaging, were tacked on to the original prenatal care schedule that was developed before 1950. Few researchers attempted a critical review of the logistics and content of prenatal care.
