HCA Healthcare to invest more than $335 million in nurse training and education
HCA and the health care industry at large are in the grips of a nurse shortage, caused in part by pandemic burnout, an aging patient population and an aging workforce of caregivers. Approximately 1 million registered nurses are expected to leave the profession by 2030, according to a report in Health Affairs.
