Errors From Incorrect Use of Subscale

To the Editor On behalf of my coauthors, I write to report errors that occurred in our Original Investigation, “Comparison of Teleintegrated Care and Telereferral Care for Treating Complex Psychiatric Disorders in Primary Care: A Pragmatic Randomized Comparative Effectiveness Trial,” that was published online on August 25, 2021, and in the November 2021 issue of JAMA Psychiatry. In this randomized compar ative effectiveness trial, 1004 adults with complex psychiatric disorders in primary care clinics were randomly assigned to an integrated or referral approach to using clinic-to-clinic interactive video to deliver evidence-based mental health treatments. The 2 approaches were (1) telepsychiatry/tele psychology–enhanced referral (TER), in which telepsychiatrists and telepsychologists assumed responsibility for treatment, and (2) telepsychiatry collaborative care (TCC), in which telepsychiatrists provided consultation to the primary care team. We found that both approaches significantly and sub stantially improved clinical outcomes.
