Effect of the curing light intensity on the biocompatibility and flexural strength of a composite resin

Conclusion: A polymerization intensity<400 mW/cm2 increases the levels of cytotoxicity and decreases the mechanical properties of composite resins. The importance of the periodic control of the light curing units is emphasized.
