by vibhorgarg (Posted Sat May 16, 2015 12:52 am)I am sharing The Experience which I had with DAMS…sadly, it wasn’t a good experience at all…. http://www.slideshare.net/anindyanandi4 ... -with-damsAbout the Teachers and the Syllabuscovered –There is no coordination between thefaculties about what is to be taught bywhom….the overlapping topics are worstdealt with…every faculty says it will becovered by the other faculty and as a resultthe topics are left uncovered in classes….There is no set syllabus according to whichthey have to teach in class…they coveraccording to the time which they have inhand…Pharmacology , which is a major subjectis worst dealt with…it was not even 30%covered in the class…many overlappingtopics were left saying that it will be dealtwith in respective subjects , for eg opthal-pharmac, Psycho-pharmac…and a hugeamount of time was wasted in makingunnecessary jokes,…it would have beenbetter if some more topics were coveredinstead of wasting time on jokes andunnecessary talks ….the printed notes givenby DAMS of pharmacy are even worse…it’s athin book of few pages which contains allthe alien new drugs and nothing else….it canbe best titled as New Drug book….with thecombined knowledge of Pharmac classnotes and the module given, not even 40%of the previous year questions can besolved….the faculty didn’t had answer toany of the student’s question, for everyquestion asked he had only one answer Idon’t know” with a hea...
