As someone who was in the same boat as you, it can be totally overwhelming to think about work experience but the secret is - you don’t need everything that’s med specific, you can also expand on your extracurriculars and outside of medicine interests.
You could try volunteering at a local hospital by emailing your local NHS board, likewise you could email GP practices in your area. Also ask your careers advisor at school as they can arrange something for you. In the summer after Y12, you could apply for Nuffield research placement, Sutton trust/U...
