Assessing the frequency of CD163 Tumour Associated Macrophages between MGUS and Plasma Cell Myeloma

Plasma cell dyscrasias (PCD) are a heterogeneous group of diseases characterised by the expansion of monoclonal bone marrow (BM) plasma cells. 1 The most common is Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance (MGUS) which is a premalignant PCD that consistently precedes multiple myeloma (MM) with a 1% risk of progression per year.2,3
