Imaging Modalities to Diagnose, Follow, and Assess Treatment of Chronic Ankle Instability

Mechanical ankle instability can lead to isolated cartilage lesions or early osteoarthritis. Many of the signs and symptoms can be clinically elusive with the need to isolate and define primary and secondary injuries with imaging. Currently available imaging modalities to diagnose chronic ankle instability are presented here.
