If they require 5 GCSEs at 6 and above and you don't meet that requirement and aren't retaking any GCSEs, you would probably be automatically rejected. GCSE requirements tend to be "hard" requirements as they are often not programme specific and are university wide minimum requirements put in place to ensure all incoming students have a minimal level of preparation to cope with the workload. This is not specific to St Georges but is general to most universities.
