Bowel Perforation in a Patient with Hepatocellular Carcinoma during Lenvatinib Treatment

We present a case of severe bowel perforation during lenvatinib treatment for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma. Although the Hartmann ’s procedure was performed, the patient died 48 h after the operation. The histopathological findings suggested that lenvatinib was involved in the etiology of bowel perforation in this case.Case Rep Gastroenterol 2022;16:502 –506
