Introduction

I can not believe how long we worked to finally complete this issue of TVIR. I remember discussing the concept of serving as the guest editor of an issue that would try to discuss a few of the ways that we could improve our results in the treatment of peripheral arterial disease. The possibility to not cataloging therapies or diagnostic tests but trying to actually evaluate how we could focus on certain interventions to improve initial and long-term results in our patients was a very interesting goal.
