Transapical Transcatheter Mitral Valve Implantation with the Tendyne Valve: The Swiss Experience
CONCLUSION: Transcatheter mitral valve implantation with Tendyne is feasible to treat polymorbid patients suffering from complex mitral valve disease as well as patients with previous mitral interventions. Benchmarking Outcomes of Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement in Patients with Bicuspid Aortic Valves
CONCLUSIONS: In this nationally-representative study, 30-day mortality was similar but risk-adjusted 5-year mortality was significantly lower in bicuspid patients undergoing isolated SAVR compared to tricuspid patients, specifically low-risk and normal left ventricular ejection fraction patients.
