Prevalence of atrial fibrillation in a regional Victoria setting, findings from the crossroads studies (2001-2003 and  2016-2018)
CONCLUSION: The prevalence of AF among community-based participants in regional Victoria was similar to predominantly metropolitan-based studies, and was unchanged over time despite increased rates of risk factors. Feasibility and acceptability of opportunistic screening to detect atrial fibrillation in Aboriginal adults.
CONCLUSION: The iECG device was well accepted within ACCHSs and was feasible to use to screen for AF among Aboriginal patients. Implications for public health: The device can be used in clinical and community settings to screen Aboriginal people for atrial fibrillation to help reduce rates of stroke and other cardiovascular diseases.
