Unicist Homeopathy and Primary Headache
We present here the outcome of unicist homeopathic therapy of primary headache. A simple score was established to evaluate the results of the homeopathic treatment, based on the Visual Analogue Score, the number of pain attacks, and the patientsʼ ingestion of traditional drugs. Homeopathic amelioration followed Vijayakar rules. From 2007 to 2013, we observed 116 patients affected by headaches: only 39 fulfilled the eligibility criteria. These 39 patients suffered an average of nine pain attacks monthly. The average follow-up was of seventeen months. According to the SCORE, we observed no patients who worsened during homeo...

Nux vomica, the Arnica of Recovery from Addiction: An Exploratory Study of the Use of Homeopathy in the Reduction of Post–Acute Withdrawal Syndrome in Addiction Treatment
This article details a protocol of using Nux vomica in three American treatment settings, with data indicating a positive impact on both immediate symptoms and long-term stabilisation in treatment. Consistently in all three groups, those who chose to use homeopathy completed substance abuse treatment programs at a higher rate than those who did not. The authors conclude that the role of homeopathy for recovery from addiction merits further investigation.[...]Thieme Medical and Scientific Publishers Private Ltd. The Biological Basis of Physics and the Role of Homeopathy
Homoeopathic Links 2014; 27: 46-49DOI: 10.1055/s-0033-1350944Efforts have been made to integrate homeopathy into the system of natural sciences. In this article an alternative approach is offered. The very base of physics and mathematics, on which natural sciences are grounded are time, space and number. Since Immanuel Kant they are believed to be a priori given. Alternatively they can be explained as a consequence of life, such that the outside world in the form, as we perceive it, should no longer be considered independent from us as living beings. Having unders...

Homeopathy versus Homeopathy
Homoeopathic Links 2015; 28: 142-149DOI: 10.1055/s-0035-1562850Homeopathy is a powerful medicine but also very dangerous. And it is not as said or thought: ‘if homeopathy doesn’t benefit, it doesn't harm'. The necessity to administer from the beginning of the treatment, the very exact right homeopathic remedy, called the simillimum, to a patient is a must and a great challenge for every homeopath. If not (by administering a similar remedy), the individual energy of the patient is derived from its original state and the patient can become insensitive, even to the exact simillimum and even when it is given right after th...

Experiences with an Integrative Approach to Treating HIV/AIDS in East Africa
Homoeopathic Links 2016; 29: 022-031DOI: 10.1055/s-0036-1572347HIV/AIDS is a multifaceted condition affecting the whole person, which requires an individualised and holistic approach. In East Africa, Homoeopathy for Health in Africa offers patients an integrative, holistic method to supplement standard medical treatment and mitigates the side effects of antiretroviral (ARV) drugs that often interfere with patient adherence to treatment and lead to drug resistance. Patients who have homeopathy treatment as a supplement to ARVs report amelioration of side-effect symptoms, increased energy and enhanced well-being, allowing th...

NHMRC Overview on Homeopathy
Homœopathic Links 2016; 29: 226-227 DOI: 10.1055/s-0036-1586244The National Health and Medical Research Council's conclusion on homeopathy was not legitimate because it was based on homeopathic trials that lacked homogeneity in their intervention. In some trials the intervention was isopathic. The overview and many previously conducted systematic reviews were exclusively based on randomized controlled trials that comprised only 27% of all clinical studies so far published in homeopathy. It is not rational to leave out the evidence generated through uncontrolled studies if these studies showed consistent results. [...] Thi...

Migraine and the Scope of Homeopathy
Homœopathic Links 2017; 30: 189-194 DOI: 10.1055/s-0037-1606343Migraine is usually a genetic disorder. In the United States, every 10 seconds someone with a migraine goes to the emergency room. Approximately 1.2 million annual visits to the emergency room occur due to acute migraine attacks. About 90% of migraine patients have a family history of this illness. More than 90% of sufferers are unable to work or function normally during their migraine episode, affecting their quality of life and medical expenditure. While the majority of patients experience attacks once or twice a month, more than four million people suffer...

HIV, Herpes Zoster, Homeopathy and Hope: A Case Report
This article attempts to bridge the gap between homeopathic and conventional therapeutic plans. The author has cited a case from a clinical setting where a patient discontinued ARV drugs, and consulted a homeopath for herpes zoster infection. The patient was followed up for 1 year, was relieved from symptoms and remained free from opportunistic infections. Homeopathy helped him; he regained confidence in himself and the homeopathic therapeutic measures. The case illustrated here, which has shown improvement in both subjective and objective parameters, may be used for the management of patients suffering from HIV or AIDS....

Characteristics of Contemporary Methodologies of Classic Homeopathy
Homœopathic Links 2019; 32: 018-022 DOI: 10.1055/s-0039-1685148In the early 21st century, the methodologies of Massimo Mangialavori, Rajan Sankaran and Jan Scholten stood in classic homeopathy. These authors criticise the traditional methods of case analysis and propose new instruments to the search for the most appropriate remedy. These contemporary methodologies present common points: the study of themes, classification in groups, interrelation of substance-remedy-patient and predictive character. These characteristics were already presented by other authors throughout the history of homeopathy, but they were only syste...

Electrodynamics and 528 Frequency Resonance in Water Science Helps Solve the Mystery in Homeopathy
This article examines a generally overlooked foundational feature of water, its structuring and frequency electrodynamics that best explains the mysterious efficacy of homeopathy as well as why reproducibility in experimental outcomes are often unreliable. The ‘key’ that unlocks doors of understanding and demystifying this matter is the frequency central to giving life, sustaining health and rejuvenating nature—the oxygenating energy of 528-nm greenish-yellow light and its sonoluminescent predecessor-in-interest, 528-Hz frequency of sound. Quoting Hermes Trismegistus, ‘As above, so below, as within, so without, as ...

True Surgical Cases in Homeopathy
Homoeopathic Links 2015; 28: 027-032DOI: 10.1055/s-0035-1544198I have failed to give result in many surgical cases, which according to knowledge of allied subjects should be managed conservatively. On the other hand, here I present surgical cases from my last few years of clinical practice in which the conventional system of medicine had to offer nothing less than surgery, but all cases were well managed by homeopathic treatment, evident by reports of appropriate investigation. This warrants further studies to prove and/or lectures by more senior homeopaths to describe more precisely the territory of scope and limitation o...
