Transapical-transcatheter aortic valve implantation using the Edwards SAPIEN 3 valve
CONCLUSIONS: We observed very promising early and mid-term clinical outcomes with a high degree of device success and good hemodynamic performance after TA-TAVI using the S3 in the intermediate risk patient profile.PMID:35037446 | DOI:10.23736/S0021-9509.21.11523-X

External stenting of saphenous vein grafts for coronary artery bypass: a single-center analysis of clinical outcomes
CONCLUSIONS: Clinical outcomes with external SVG stenting are excellent without ischemia-driven targetvessel revascularization at 1 year, and low rates of repeat revascularization at 3 years. Further follow-up will show whether external stenting reduces SVG failure with a benefit on long-term clinical outcomes.PMID:35005876 | DOI:10.23736/S0021-9509.22.12008-2

Aortic valve replacement via right anterolateral minithoracotomy - preventing adverse events during the initial learning curve
CONCLUSIONS: RALT-AVR can be performed with acceptable procedural times and satisfactory outcomes. For a well-trained surgeon, adapting to this new procedure does not expose patients to an increased risk, when patient selection and procedural planning are applied appropriately. Cumulative sum failure analysis is an appropriate tool to monitor the transition from standard AVR to the technically more demanding RALT-AVR.PMID:34825793 | DOI:10.23736/S0021-9509.21.11981-0
