Clinicians can help patients recover from strokes while they’re anywhere in the world—even states or countries far away from each other—by using a combination of robotics and virtual-reality devices. It’s happening at Georgia Institute of Technology, where Nick Housley runs the Sensorimotor Integration Lab.
