First clinical experience with the Derivo 2heal embolization device for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms
CONCLUSIONS: The preliminary results of the new Derivo® 2heal® Embolization Device appear promising and warrant further evaluation by multicentre studies with long-term follow-up.PMID:37574801 | DOI:10.1177/15910199231193577

Hemodynamic outcomes of stenting for vertebrobasilar insufficiency in patients with a low flow state
CONCLUSIONS: Our series demonstrates angioplasty and stenting significantly improve intracranial flow over long-term. Angioplasty and stenting may improve the natural history of low-flow VB atherosclerotic disease.PMID:37386804 | DOI:10.1177/15910199231185801

Staged endovascular recanalization for symptomatic atherosclerotic non-acutely occluded internal carotid artery
CONCLUSIONS: This retrospective study found that staged endovascular recanalization for symptomatic atherosclerotic NAOICA may be feasible with an acceptable technical success rate and a low complication rate in the selected candidates.PMID:36883208 | DOI:10.1177/15910199231162666

Use of drug-eluting, balloon-expandable resolute onyx coronary stent as a novel treatment strategy for vertebral artery ostial stenosis: Case series
CONCLUSIONS: We report the first case series of Resolute Onyx drug-eluting stenting including 30-day postprocedure stroke/TIA rates and clinical/radiographic follow up and demonstrate safe and effective treatment of symptomatic and asymptomatic VA ostial stenosis.PMID:36357368 | DOI:10.1177/15910199221138138

Short-term outcome of stenting with Enterprise stents for symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic disease at a single center
CONCLUSION: This retrospective study suggests that percutaneous transluminal angioplasty and stenting with Enterprise stents is an effective treatment for symptomatic intracranial arterial stenosis or occlusion with a high technical success rate. It also indicates that stenting during the early nonacute stage after stroke may not increase the incidence of perioperative complications for symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis when following strict inclusion criteria.PMID:36259331 | DOI:10.1177/15910199221133166

Management strategies of unanticipated intracranial stenosis during mechanical thrombectomy for acute stroke: A survey of academic neurointerventionalists
CONCLUSION: The approach to underlying ICAD in LVO varies widely; however, the majority of neurointerventionalists prefer medical therapy with DAPT as a first-line treatment approach. The current survey highlights the need for studies that better define the optimal timing and modality of treatment, along with an evidence-based framework for balancing the risks associated with these treatment approaches.PMID:35758313 | DOI:10.1177/15910199221110971
